Genesis 29:26

And Laban said, It must not be so done in our country [lit, place], to give the younger before the firstborn.

Geneva Bible - And Laban answered, It is not the (i) manner of this place, to give the younger
before the elder.
(i) He esteemed more the profit that he had of Jacob's service, than either his promise of the manner
of the country, though he alleged custom for his excuse.

Genesis 27:19

And Jacob said unto his father, I [am] Esau thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest [told] me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison [game], that thy soul may bless me.

Geneva Bible - And Jacob said to his father, (d) I am Esau thy firstborn; I have done as thou
badest me, arise, I pray thee, sit up and eat of my venison, that thy soul may
bless me.
(d) Although Jacob was assured of this blessing by faith; yet he did evil to seek it by lies, and the
more because he abuseth God's name thereunto.

Genesis 19:34

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, [and] lie with him, that we may preserve seed [the lineage] of our father.

(Geneva Bible) - And on the morrow the elder said to the younger, Behold, yesternight lay I with my father; let us make him drink wine this night also, and go thou and lie with him, that we may (*) preserve seed [the lineage] of our father.
(*) Hebrew: keep alive.

Genesis 19:33

And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

(Geneva Bible) - So they made their father drink wine that night, and the elder went and lay with her father; but he perceived not, neither when she lay down, neither when she rose up.
