Genesis 27:13

And his mother said unto him, Upon me [be] thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me [them. ]

Geneva Bible - But his mother said unto him, (*) (c) Upon me be thy curse, my son; only hear
my voice, and go and bring me them.
(*) Or, I will take the danger on me.
(c) The assurance of God's decree made her bold.

Genesis 27:12

My father peradventure [perhaps] will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

Geneva Bible - My father may possibly feel me, and I shall seem (*) to him to be a (♣) mocker,
so shall I bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.
(*) Hebrew: before his eyes.
(♣) Or, as though I would deceive him.

Genesis 8:21

And the LORD smelled a sweet savour [soothing aroma]; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for [although] the imagination [intent or thought] of man's heart [is] evil from his youth;  neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Note that this passage points out the very problem with each of us:  The intent or thought of every man's heart is evil from his youth.  There is no one on earth, who can escape this.  We are ALL evil from our youth.  That is why there is nothing YOU can DO to change this.  Yes, we can and should attempt every day to live our lives holy and respectable; but without Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you are lost.  He redeemed (i.e., substitued) himself for all our sins.

Genesis 3:16

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow [pain] and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to [toward] thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
