And Isaac brought her nto his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's [death.]
Geneva Bible - Afterward Isaac brought her into the tent of Sarah his mother, and he took Rebekah, and she was his wife, and he loved her. So Isaac was (*) comforted after his mother’s death.
(*) Or, had left mourning for his mother.
And she went, and sat her down over [opposite] against [him] a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against [him,] and lift up her voice, and wept.
(Geneva Bible) - Then she went and sat her over against him afar off about a bowshot, for she
said, I will not see the death of the child. And she sat down over against him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die [dying you shall die].
