And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
(Geneva Bible) - And God said unto him by a dream, I know that thou didst this even with an upright mind, and I (g) kept thee also that thou shouldest not sin against me; therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
(g) God by his holy Spirit retaineth them that offend by ignorance, that they fall not into greater
inconvenience.
